Here is our latest episode of The California Legacy Series features Bret Harte’s 1870 poem “Dickens in Camp.”
The California Legacy Project at Santa Clara University in collaboration with Heyday Books is dedicated to preserving California’s unique culture through books, radio productions, and now through the virtual world of Second Life, using machinima to visualize the writings.

Also don’t miss us TODAY at SLCC as we present “California Legacy – From Out-of-Print Literature to Modern Machinima” from 3pm-6pm SLT PST/SLT in Elizabethan Room D. During this workshop, the series and it’s machinima production will be broken down and discussed at every step. This workshop will also include an opportunity for the audience to participate in the production of a brand new segment, filmed ON THE SPOT! I hope to see you there!
